Brad Riddell

Brad has written four produced feature films on assignment for Paramount, MTV, Universal and independent producers. Brad’s first film, AMERICAN PIE: BAND CAMP, remains one of the highest-grossing live action DVD release in history, selling two million copies and reaching syndication on TBS. CROOKED ARROWS, was released nationally in theaters in 2012, and is the first mainstream lacrosse movie ever produced. TEN MORE, his directorial debut, screened at over twenty festivals in the United States, winning prizes for best directing and best screenplay. His web series, OTHER PEOPLE'S CHILDREN and DISTANT LEARNERS have screened all over the world and earned prizes for directing, writing, and acting.

In 2019 he directed his first feature film, LATER DAYS, which was released by Gravitas Ventures. Brad earned a BA in English with a minor in Theater from the University of Kentucky, and an MFA in screenwriting from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. Brad taught MFA and BFA screenwriting courses at USC for seven years, and then undergraduate courses at SUNY Oswego for one, before joining DePaul's School of Cinematic Arts in 2012.

Brad writes for major Hollywood studios and independent producers, and has performed adaptations of novels and nonfiction material. He is interested in directing and producing short and feature films, writing for television, as well as developing web series.
