McCombs School of Business
Bob George is a Lecturer at the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business. His courses have included management auditing, computer auditing and fraud examination. In 2015, Bob was nominated by the President of The University of Texas Health Science
- Center at Houston (UTHealth) and confirmed by the UT System Chancellor to serve as the
- UTHealth Audit Committee Chairman. In 2016, he became Chairman of the Audit and
- Governance Committees of a NASDAQ listed life sciences company that is developing anticancer
- drug technologies. Bob is also the Director of Energy Programs & Conferences for the
- Professional Development Institute.
Prior to joining the McCombs faculty, Bob was a partner with Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP for twenty-seven years in advisory services, management consulting and assurance. Bob’s PwC roles included:
