Biography
David Lucca is an Assistant Vice President in the Capital Markets Function of the Research and Statistics Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he has worked since 2011. David’s research focuses on asset pricing, financial intermediation and banking supervision. His research has been recognized with the 2015 Amundi Smith Breeden Prize for best paper in the Journal of Finance. David’s policy responsibilities include pricing agency MBS, as well as advising on monetary and supervisory policy issues. Prior to joining the Bank, David was an Economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. David holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University.
