Biography

Management School ESSCA

Alice FALCHI finished her PhD in Management Sciences (Maketing) at the end of 2019. She joined ESSCA School of Management in January 2020 as an assistant professor in the Strategies & Markets department.

Her research focuses on co-innovation with consumers, especially in the context of cooperative firms. She is interested in the particularity of customer-members (co-owners of cooperative firms), and the effects of legal and psychological ownership on the effectiveness of a co-innovation process. As part of her doctoral work, she also studied the effects of the game’s rules on the efficiency of this process. She worked with the Crédit Agricole, the first global cooperative.

She received the prize for the best scientific article (researcher category) during the 3rd International Summit of Cooperatives in 2016 in Canada (with her co-authors Sonia CAPELLI, Caroline HUSSLER and William SABADIE, professors at Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University). This work gave rise to an article published in Gestion 2000, which deals with the interest of involving consumer-members in the innovation process of cooperative firms. She also co-wrote a book chapter on cooperatives management (from a marketing and HR perspective) to be published in 2020 (EMS editions).

Alice FALCHI is a member of the French Marketing Association (AFM) for which she carries out missions within the communication commission.

Her teaching subjects focus mainly on marketing: strategic marketing, operational marketing, marketing and innovation, industrial marketing, advanced marketing as well as introduction to management.
