Yoshimitsu Kaji

Biography:

After graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University’s department of economics, Mr. Kaji worked for Fuji Bank and an advertising company. When working at Coca-Cola Japan he was put in charge of Coca-Cola and Georgia Coffee.

At Time Warner he worked on movies such as “The Matrix” and Steven Spielberg’s “A.I.” as the head of the advertising department. He moved on to Sony Pictures Entertainment where he was involved in the marketing of popular movies such as “Spiderman” and animated movies such as “Astroboy” as the Vice President of marketing.

After a successful career in the entertainment industry Mr. Kaji worked for Nissan Motors as a Marketing Director and developed marketing strategies for luxury cars such as the NISSAN GT-R, Fuga, Skyline and many more.

Once transferred to the affiliated company Autotech he was put in charge of overseas operation strategies for North-America, Europe, Asia as the head of the overseas operations department.

In 2009 he became executive director of the Tokyo Olympics/Paralympics bid committee. After losing the bid he once again returned to Nissan where he planned the global (Japan, America, Europe, China) introduction of Nissan’s Zero-Emission Vehicle.

He co-translated “Kellogg on Integrated Marketing” and other strategy/marketing related books.
