Wouter Van Bockhaven

Wouter Van Bockhaven’s (PhD Applied Economics, UAntwerp 2014) research focuses on developing innovation ecosystems to tackle institutional and stakeholder barriers preventing the creation of ‘shared value’. It combines qualitative and quantitative approaches to address managers’ real-life challenges in pharmaceutics, medical devices, machine building, steel and public sectors. He is researches and develops tools for career. His work is published in Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing and HRSquare and presented at conferences of the Strategic Management Society, IMP, SIOP, RENT and the EIASM workshop on Talent Management.

Anchored in service orientation and entrepreneurial creativity, he actively translates scientific knowledge into managerially useful models, tools and information as well as in support of several business development and commercialization projects. Teaching is focused on organization theory, strategy, implementation, performance measurement and innovation management at UAntwerp, AMS and the Royal Military Academy.
