William Einhorn

Mr. Einhorn serves as a trustee of the Pennsylvania Employees Benefit Trust Fund, a trust providing health benefits to 74,000 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania public sector employees and their dependents, and as a trustee of the Teamsters Health and Welfare and Pension Trust Funds of Philadelphia and Vicinity. He has a wealth of experience with and has developed particular expertise in benefit administration, claims automation, benefit cost containment, data analysis, plan design and management reporting. Mr. Einhorn has frequently lectured to various employer and employee groups on these issues. For more than 26 years, Mr. Einhorn served as the administrator of the Teamsters Health and Welfare and Pension Trust Funds of Philadelphia and Vicinity, as well as president of Administrative Service Professionals, a regional third-party benefits administration firm. He recently retired from those positions and now consults with several organizations on various benefit fund matters. Prior to joining the Philadelphia Teamsters funds as a full-time employee, he actively practiced law for several years, specializing in labor relations and ERISA in a firm that represented over 60 Taft-Hartley trust funds. Mr. Einhorn received both his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Temple University in Philadelphia. He is a member of various local groups involved with employee benefit issues. Mr. Einhorn currently serves the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans as a voting member and has previously served for several terms as a member of the Administrators Committee and Board of Directors, as Chair of the Health Care Management and Coalition Committee and as a member of numerous other Foundation committees.
