Biography
IESE Business School
Weiming Zhu is an Assistant Professor in IESE’s Department of Production, Technology and Operations Management. He obtained his Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at University of Maryland. Prior to joining the University of Maryland, he received his bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).
Weiming’s current research theoretically and empirically explores financing schemes in supply chains, pricing and agent behavior in sharing economy and the role of retail distribution methods on channel development. His work has been published on top academic journals, such as Management Science and Journal of International Economics. His work has also been recognized in M&SOM, POMS, and CSAMSE best paper award competitions.
