Dr Kristin Fridgeirsdottir’s research interests are pricing and revenue management, online advertising, retail, stochastic modelling, and queueing theory.
In addition to being Adjunct Associate Professor, she is the chairman of the board of the largest retail company in Iceland, Hagar, holds non-executive directorships at the insurance company TM and pharmaceutical distributor Distica, and serves on the board of governors at Reykjavik University. As a consultant she has worked for companies in digital media, the semiconductor industry, and private equity.
Dr Fridgeirsdottir’s research has been published in Operations Research, Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, and other leading journals.
