Vyacheslav Boltrukevich

Vyacheslav Boltrukevich is a Professor of Business Practice and Academic Director of Educational Programmes at Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO.

Professor Boltrukevich gained his Master’s and PhD in Economic Sciences at Lomonosov Moscow State University. He is an expert in operational efficiency and production systems with extensive experience of teaching on Executive MBA and corporate programmes. His research interests are focused on the study of approaches and models for improving business performance, the operational strategy of companies across various industries, and development models for companies’ production systems and how they contribute to their development. Professor Boltrukevich is an active writer and has published books on quality management, efficiency improvement and the development of production systems. His academic experience includes leading corporate programmes at Lomonosov Moscow State University Business School and opening a Master’s programme in Operational Excellence at Moscow’s National Research University Higher School of Economics.

Professor Boltrukevich has extensive experience working with top managers in large Russian companies. As Academic Director, he developed and delivered educational programmes on operational efficiency and production systems for companies such as Rusal, GAZ Group, En+ Group, Ingosstrakh, OMK, Avtoban, TNK-BP, Rosneft, MedHolding and PhosAgro. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Russian industrial companies and since 2018 has managed his own expert company, Lean Institute Russia, which implements educational and consulting projects in the field of efficiency and is part of the Lean Global Network. Professor Boltrukevich teaches and leads projects on programmes for companies such as Kolmar, Gazprom-Media, Decathlon, Gazprom Neft, Alrosa, Rosneft, MedHolding and more.
