Vanessa Monties

Vanessa Monties is an associate professor in organizational behavior at ESSCA since August 2021.

She received her PhD from Emlyon (2015) and conducted a one-year ethnography in the law enforcement sector on the construction of professional identity.

Her research focuses on identity work, sensemaking, group processes, extreme work environments and dirty work, emotional intelligence and resilience.

She regularly publishes in academic journals and participates in international conferences. She is also an expert in emotional intelligence and is trained in NLP (neuro-linguistic programming).

She is passionate about people and works for well-being at work and healthier relationships within organizations.
