Umut Ekmekci

Specialized in creative thinking and innovation management. In addition to his academic position,he serves as mentor, consultant and trainer to firms from various different business sectors. His works focuses upon three pillars of innovation; (1) Designing corporate innovation systems and their components, as a professional consultant, (2) Designing academic / non academic training methods and contents for creative thinking and strategic management of innovation, as an academic and professional trainer, (3) Designing teams and enabling, facilitating, coordinating team works, as a passionate believer in collective intelligence. From 2001 to 2015 he worked for several national / international projects as project coordinator, expert and consultant, and currently he is part of several start-up teams and projects as mentor and aims to support them by designing innovative business models. He’s currently the Assistant Professor at Sabancı University / Faculty Engineering and Natural Sciences.
