During the last 30 years von Weymarn has acted in boards of over 50 various companies, their groups and affiliated companies, including listed companies, family businesses and start-up technology firms.

M.Sc. in Engineering (Chemistry and engineering, 1968), Tom von Weymarn has occupied various management positions in manufacturing and trade since year 1970. At first, as Operation Engineer and R&D Manager at Kyme-Kymmenen in petrochemical industry.

Since 1975 Wholesale and Plastics Branch Director at Oy Huber Ab. In 1981-83 the CEO of Oy Telko Ab (technical wholesale). In 1983-89 at Oy Fazer Ab, as Director of Chocolate and Confectionary Branch and in 1989-91 the CEO of Oy Karl Fazer Ab, In 1992-1997 the Vice CEO of Cultor Plc, globally responsible for animal and fish feed as well as feed enzymes and amino acids. In 1998-2004 the CEO of Oy Rettig Ab.
