Timothy Mudd

Having spent twenty years occupying every commercial graphic role from designer to creative director—in-house, through agencies and consulting across multiple industries—Tim Mudd sought to pivot the second half of his career into visual analytics. This journey led him to the University of Washington. After completing the data visualization certificate program, Tim became an instructional assistant in that program as well as other data-centered courses, including Foundations of Data Analysis.

In addition to his art direction duties at Trident, Mudd is currently working with stakeholders to evolve the role of data in the Seattle-based global seafood company's business intelligence. Mudd is Tableau Desktop Certified; and proud to have joined the world-class instructional team at University of Washington Professional & Continuing Education.
