Tiago Mattos is a Brazilianfuturist, entrepreneur, educator, author and speaker. He teaches at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Trans-disciplinary Innovation Program), and in charge of the Futurism track. Tiago was the opening speaker in TEDx Porto Alegre.  He has spken about several topics at conferences and Fortune 500 corporate events. His initiatives have been mentioned by international media, such as Forbes and Fast Company. His presentation on exponential technologies ("Blindfolded ignite", a lecture he gave while blindfolded), generated media attention.

He currently leads Aeroli.to, a company that offers futurism courses and deals with experiments on virtual reality, internet of everything, robotics and artificial intelligence.

Tiago Mattos graduated in Communications from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He studied at MIT with Professor Thomas W. Malone, author of "The Future of Work". He attended the first edition of TIP (Trans-disciplinary Innovation Program), a futurism program held by The Hebrew University of Jerusalem where worldwide experts and fourteen Nobel Laureates and one Fields Medal Winner attended and spoke. He also studied Foresight Techniques at The Institute for the Future in Palo Alto.

In 2005, he was elected along with fifteen others, in the delegation of young advertisers that participated in the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. In 2006, he was named the ARP Copywriter of the Year. In the following year, he co-founded Perestroika, a school for creative activities where it expanded its activities to include: innovation, technology, design, entrepreneurship, among others. Between 2012 and 2014, it started initiatives in other five cities in Brazil, as well as its first international project, in San Francisco, California. In 2015, the school launched Neotribes – its second international venture.

His first book, VLEF ("Vai lá e faz", or "Go Do It"), is an entrepreneurship manifesto and brings reflections about how to create a company in the 21st Century. The project was backed by a crowd funding website and held a record in Catarse, the biggest platform in Brazil.

In 2014, Perestroika was among the projects selected to participate in the book Empreendedorismo Criativo (Creative Entrepreneurship), which gathers nine Brazilian companies that belong to the New Economics.
