Biography

Thomas K. Cheriyan (also known as Tom) is a proven leader and innovator in the technology sector. He brings to the table years of experience in intellectual property, technology, engineering, thought leadership, strategic marketing, sales and business management.

During his downtime, Tom is an Adjunct Professor at The City College of New York within The Grove School of Engineering teaching several graduate courses including Project Management, Engineering & Business Law, and Engineering Economics. With time remaining or from a multitasking perspective, he's also a full-time dad to two amazing daughters.

Thomas K. Cheriyan received his B.E. in Computer Engineering from The City College of New York in 2007. He later received his MBA from Baruch College in 2010. Thomas has spent the majority of his career working in the technology sector in the field of sales and marketing including Gartner, Oxford Economics, IDG Enterprise, Yelp, Simplilearn, and currently at OwnBackup where he currently serves as the leader for Sales Enablement.

Research interests include AI Ethics, Project Management, Startup Economics, Technology Sales and Negotiations, and Critical Thinking.
