My research interests are in the area of business and development studies with a particular focus on youth, entrepreneurship and micro- and small enterprises in Africa. My research on entrepreneurship has focused on the importance of the developing country context for entrepreneurship motivations, aspirations, organizational forms, and resource and skills acquisition. Major research projects concern Youth, Entrepreneurship and Employment in African Economies (http://geo.dk.dk/yemp) and Successful African Firms and Institutional Change (www.cbs.dk/cbds/safic).
