Terence Lim

Dr. Lim joined SKK GSB with 25 years of experience in equity research, investment advisory and asset management in Asia. Before joining GSB, he managed Cobaltsky Partners, a private equity fund specializing in the green industry sector. He also served as representative director and head of equity at Macquarie Securities Korea and as CEO at Goldman Sachs Asset Management Korea. He co-managed alternative investment funds at Sofaer Global Research in Hong Kong. Prior to that, he was co-branch manager, head of research, and chief Korea strategist at Goldman Sachs Korea. He started his career as a capital market analyst at Samsung Life and moved to the research division at Merrill Lynch Korea.

He currently serves as outsider director of NH-Amundi Asset Management Korea and auditor of SeAh Steel Co. Dr. Lim has written regular investment strategy columns for prominent media such as Chosun Ilbo. He has been mentioned and voted as one of the most influential figures in the Korean financial industry in a few media surveys. Dr. Lim holds a Ph.D. degree in Financial Accounting from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received a M.B.A. from Emory University and a B.A. from Seoul National University.
