Biography

NUS Institute of Systems Science

Tan Eng Tsze is a practising enterprise architect consultant and lecturer at ISS. He conducts Enterprise Architecture certification short courses and for a Masters degree programme at NUS. He also provides enterprise architecture consulting for public and private sector companies. He has provided EA consulting for defence, healthcare and the Singapore Government's Enterprise Architecture Methodology and Toolkit project. He was also involved in the development of the NICF EA and SOA competency units. Previously, Eng Tsze also consulted for a large government agency using IBM's EA Methodology. Having worked in IBM, BearingPoint and NCS, he has accumulated experiences in Enterprise Architecture, IT architecting, solution architecting and systems integration. He started his IT career many years ago as a software engineer with the Defence Science Organisation, developing stringent mission planning systems for the Singapore Navy and subsequently moved on to research institute KRDL, developing knowledge based systems.
