Biography:

Mr. Takatomo Itoi currently serves as Board Member and Chief Financial Officer of Universal Music Japan.

Prior to joining Universal Music, Mr. Itoi spent 12 successful years in management consulting, first at Accenture (Manager, Strategy Group), second at PwC (Senior Manager, M&A Advisory), and then Frontier Management (Senior Director, Corporate Turnaround).

Mr. Itoi has extensive experience in cross-border engagements, supporting clients in the areas of business strategy, business transformation, post-merger integration, and operations improvement across a variety of industries including auto, healthcare, telecommunications, consumer products, media, and several service sectors.

Prior to his management consulting career, Mr. Itoi held several finance positions at such companies as Gillette, Coca-Cola, and DIRECTV.

Mr. Itoi holds an MBA from the University of Rochester, specializing in Strategy and Finance. He has a BS in Business Economics from The State University of New York.
