Susan Kudla Finn, PMP, is a dynamic leader, compelling communicator and highly skilled lobbyist with an impressive track record of success leading seven diverse organizations. Susan has taught a diverse portfolio of project management courses to over 2,000 students in Fortune 500 companies and 16 government agencies. Her clients have included financial stationers, food companies, county officials, government administrators, state housing agencies, broadcasters, utility contractors, and Mobil Corporation (now ExxonMobil), where she designed a global communications plan to launch Mobil’s new standard managed computing environment. She served as global communications consultant to the senior corporate leader of this Fortune 8 Company’s newly redesigned $500 million IT organization. Susan was RAND Corporation’s subject matter expert on this topic and a performance management consultant at the Department of Homeland Security.
As an association executive and lobbyist, Susan built strategies to develop market expansion opportunities for the now $16 billion dollar pet food industry resulting in a successful federal legislative and state campaign to expand markets as well as block 50 pieces of tax legislation directed against that industry during an 18 year period.
Susan is an editor of The Complete Guide to Nonprofit Management, a best seller in John Wiley & Sons Management series. The book was also published in Hungarian. She received a Master’s Degree in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. Her undergraduate degree is in American Government from Georgetown University, where she also completed postgraduate work in international business.
