Stylianos Christoforou received an LLB (Hons) in 1998 from the University of Hull. In 1999, he studied law at the University of Nottingham from which he graduated with a degree of Master of Laws in International Commercial Law and subsequently went on to become a qualified Barrister at Law of Grays Inn.

Stylianos returned to Cyprus in 2001 where, after concluding his pupillage, he first worked as a litigation lawyer and then as Head of the Litigation Department for one of the largest firms in Nicosia. In 2005, he established his own practice which has nowadays evolved into a modern, skilled and well-respected boutique law firm (www.snclaw.eu) offering a broad range of custom made services to its clients both locally and internationally, with a second office in Bucharest, Romania. In 2008, Stylianos accepted an offer as visiting lecturer at the Cyprus International Institute of Management, teaching Labour Law and Industrial Relations.

As a practicing lawyer he handled a great number of civil law cases, including employment, family, company and commercial disputes. Despite his extensive experience as a litigator, Stylianos’s firm has in being one of the best tax corporate law firms in Cyprus. Stylianos is also a member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has handled a number of local and international arbitrations as well as a number of high profile negotiations between employers and trade union representatives, including numerous employees' strikes.

He is the exclusive legal consultant of several large private companies as well as the Employers and Industrialists Federation of Cyprus. In 2014 Stylianos developed the first and only mobile application on legal matters in Cyprus ‘The Cyprus Employment Law Tool’ that was extensively welcomed by the local professional, entrepreneurs and students.
