Stan Ho

Professor Stan Ho is the Professor of Practice in the Department of Finance and Insurance, Lingnan University, Hong Kong. He is an experienced investment banking and credit rating expert, with equity capital market and corporate finance experience in Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns, where he worked on IPO, ADR listing and convertible bond offering for Non-Japan Asian issuers. Professor Ho also worked as the Head of Non-Japan Asia structured finance group at Fitch Ratings, where he covered securitisation, covered bonds and REIT corporate rating for Non-Japan Asian issuers.

Professor Ho has solid teaching experience on investment banking, credit rating and real estate at the undergraduate and master levels. Professor Ho runs a training company covering the Asia financial institutions and regulators, and provides consulting services to funds and development banks on projects relating to structured debt financing, credit rating and risk management, and China debt markets etc.

Professor Ho is the Board Member of Asia-Pacific Structured Finance Association (APSA), and a Member of the Mainland Opportunities Committee of the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC). Professor Ho is a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors.

Professor Ho graduated with BBA in Information Systems at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, MBA from the University of Cambridge, and DBA from the City University of Hong Kong.
