Associate Vice Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs Professor of Clinical Accounting
Shirley Maxey serves as Associate Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Marshall School of Business. She is a Professor of Clinical Accounting in the Leventhal School of Accounting, specializing in professional development and leadership communication. For 17 years, she served as Associate Dean for Leventhal Accounting Graduate Programs. Professor Maxey is the recipient of the Diamond Teaching Award, Instructor Excellence Award, the Marshall Dean's Award for Community, and the Marshall Award for Innovation in Teaching. She represents Marshall and Leventhal as Academic Coordinator for the AACSB Bridge Program for Instructional Practitioners.
