Alberta School of Business

Shelly Bischoff is the Founder and Director of Ptolemy & Associates Inc. She is a Registered Nurse, Canadian Certified Occupational Health Nurse and Chartered Professional in Human Resources with experience in the areas of Occupational Health, Safety, Wellness and Disability Management. Shelly is also a Certified Psychological Health and Safety Advisor through the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Shelly has developed expertise in managing complex human resource elements within the health, safety, wellness and disability management components of the workplace. She is passionate about supporting adaptive leadership, respect, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Shelly partners with organizations to engage employee groups to increase awareness, knowledge and facilitate strategy implementation to support the integration of these values in diverse work environments. She is often asked by organizations to assist with the management of operational crisis and contingency planning. She enjoys supporting practitioners and professionals develop capacity in industry as a part time instructor with the University of Alberta OHS Diploma and Certificate programs.
