Background and Education

Scott Featherston is a Principal Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and is IFC’s Global Sector Lead for Health. He is based in Washington DC. Prior to relocating back to Washington, Scott was based in Nairobi, Kenya where he led a joint IFC-World Bank initiative focused on improving access to health services through the private sector. He has spent eight years at IFC focused on the health and education sectors.  Scott has degrees from the universities of Melbourne and Sydney in Australia and from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington DC. He is a Professorial Lecturer in Finance at SAIS.
