Biography

Mohammed is a PhD Scholar at Manchester Business School. His area of research is Information Systems Development, and he has been involved in various successful IS-Project. His research and teaching interests lies in ICT developments, IS-Project Management, and Emerging Technologies in Organisations. 

Mohammed also engages in a graduate teaching role at Manchester University, where he taught several subjects, including case studies in management, database management and qualitative research methods. 

Mohammed''s area of expertise is emerging ICTs, namely cloud computing and other innovations, such as Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP) and virtual learning systems. Mohammed is currently developing research that involves building a strong case for a cloud-driven ICT to support a variety of doctoral activities, namely teaching and research activities. He has investigated the problems with existing ICTs at higher education level owing to stakeholders’ frustration, as well as obtaining stakeholder perceptions, needs and expectations of a new emerging ICT for doctoral education.

Mohammed has also been a student representative, which involved responding to student enquiries and giving advice on a range of student-related issues, as well as motiving and inspiring students to pursue their future aspirations.
