Sandra Enciso is a project manager for Georgia Tech’s Enterprise Innovation Institute. She provides technical assistance, training and assessment services for environmental, health, and safety management system programs, environmental regulatory compliance, and sustainability projects. Enciso also assists organizations with developing and implementing environmental management systems (EMS) programs based on ISO 14001 and health and safety management systems that conform to OHSAS 18001 integrating them with the organization’s business management system. She has more than 12 years of experience in both engineering and environmental consulting.

Prior to joining the Georgia Tech, Enciso worked in the automotive industry, helping organizations achieve their environmental and sustainability goals. In addition, Enciso has provided advanced engineering support in water/wastewater treatment processes for municipalities including developing Capacity Management, Operation and Maintenance (CMOM) programs for their Sanitary Sewer Collection Systems.

Enciso holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Resources Management from the University of South Carolina and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the America University in Colombia. She is an Exemplar Global-Certified EMS Auditor for ISO 14001 environmental management systems and is a member of the America Water Works Association (AWWA) and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
