I am based in: New York

I am a visionary leader who prepares students to become leaders in a globalized world. I create forward-looking strategies that inspire curiosity, knowledge and empathy through holistic programming and inquiry-based learning.

I am Head of School at Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County. Previously I served as the school’s Lower School Principal. Prior to that, I served in the Ridgewood public school system as a Director of Special Needs, ESL & Gifted & Talented. During my tenure, I received Educator of the Year Award by Ridgewood Township and was chosen as an Open Circle Trainer in 2001-2002.

I have been instrumental in identifying the need for, and implementing, successful social competency programs. I also led the school’s transformation via IB accreditation, international exchange and learning experiences and the accreditation for the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools.

I am a graduate from Bar Ilan University in Israel and received my Masters of Science from Adelphi University in New York. I am a member of the Board of Trustees for the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools and a contributing author to the book Fine Tuning a Listening Heart.
