Nyenrode Business University

Rob H. W. Vinke (1950) is Professor Emeritus of HR Sciences at Nyenrode Business Universiteit. His core expertise is in trends in society, strategic HRM policy, labor conditions & reward, and culture & motivation. He has over 300 publications to his name.

He is the principal teacher on the HR strategist course at Universiteit Groningen, and chief editor of the Dutch HRM guide ''Gids voor Personeelsmanagement''.

Rob was a senior consultant at Hay Management Consultants for more than eight years, before spending over two years as a senior consultant at Twijnstra Gudde. In 1997 he became director of Rob Vinke Consultancy, an independent organization consultancy.

He studied work and organization psychology at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, followed by five years at the eponymous department as academic researcher, teacher and study coordinator. In 1996 he obtained his doctorate in Motivation and Reward.
