Biography

Lorange Institute

Peter Duchessi is an Associate Professor of Information Technology Management at the University at Albany, and has served as the chair of his Department and the chair of several University committees. Currently, he is on the editorial board of Information & Management. Peter Duchessi has provided consulting and/or management education services to a number of companies, including Jet Aviation, Siemens, and Fresennius Kabi. His areas of expertise and active research include improving business performance via emerging technologies, redesigned business processes, and better management practices.

Currently, he is an active consultant to Jet Aviation and Reflexis Systems, Inc. and serves on the advisory boards of two non-profit organizations.

He earned a Ph.D. in Administrative and Engineering Systems, at the Union College, Schenectady, NY.
