Executive School of Management, Technology and Law

Paschalis was a référendaire (law clerk) at the chambers of First Advocate General Melchior Wathelet at the Court of Justice of the European Union from November 2012 to October 2018. After completing his bachelor in law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) he was admitted to read law at the University of Oxford (UK) where he obtained his doctorate in law in 2009. Prior to joining the Court of Justice of the European Union, he worked as an associate in the International Arbitration Group of Shearman & Sterling LLP. He is the author of the book “Freedom of Establishment and Private International Law for Corporations” (OUP, 2012) and other publications in EU law, international arbitration law and Roman law. He is also a member of the board of the Luxembourg Arbitration Association (Association luxembourgeoise pour l'arbitrage).
