THNK School of Creative Leadership
CEO at Fotolife
My experience and deep interests:
I am based in: Querétaro Area
I have always had a passion for starting new projects, solving problems and creating products or services. I love innovating and combining insights from different fields to build new ideas and implement solutions. As a serial entrepreneur, I am Founder and CEO of Fotolife, a souvenir photography, and technology company. My academic background includes a major in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tec de Monterrey in Mexico and an MBA from MIT Sloan in 2012.
I started Fotolife when I was only 20-years-old, but only recently focused on it full time. Today we are a team of 120+ people that serve more than 5 million tourists per year. We have successfully developed technology ranging from hardware to software and a cloud platform. One of my favorite characteristics of the company is how we combine technology, creativity, and tourism in our everyday activities.
I am also a shareholder and Director at the Board of Alltournative and Rio Secreto. These two amazing eco-tourism companies share the purpose of creating life changing experiences while preserving the environment and creating tangible benefits for the surrounding communities. This vision has inspired me to get involved in Centinelas del Agua, a nonprofit that promotes conservation and clean water. More recently I became a partner at Innovation Workshop, an agency that develops software, digital marketing, and creative services; I am providing guidance to institutionalize and scale up the company.
I expect THNK to be a space for inspiration, allowing me to refine my vision and strategic direction for Fotolife and the related projects I’m involved in. I am looking forward to developing my skills to scale up and transform these organizations into fast-growing entities with regional and global reach.
