Nicolas Chevrollier

Dr. Nicolas Chevrollier is a visiting fellow at Nyenrode Business School lecturing and researching on inclusive business and teal development, His research interest is two fold. First, on topic of inclusive innovation or the development of new propositions for and with disadvantaged population especially in Africa and Asia.  Dr. Chevrollier is researching new innovation processes creating disruptive impact at scale. Second on the next generation of organization development based on new stage of consciousness commonly know as TEAL that makes organizations more empowering, productive and meaningful.  Purpose driven organizations is the overarching concept bringing these two research fields.

Besides his position at Nyenrode, Dr. Chevrollier is a senior programme manager at the BoP Innovation Center. The BoP innovation center supports companies developing new propositions for low-income population or BoP (Base of the Pyramid) in Asia and Africa. A passionate International leader with professional experiences at the intersection of innovation, business and development, he initiates, builds and nurtures partnerships with industrial partners, international organizations, public authorities, NGOs, and social entrepreneurs to develop and scale BoP ventures. 

Prior to joining the BoP innovation center and Nyenrode, he was the deputy manager of the programme "Innovation for Development" and, the co-founder and leader of the " ICT for Development" market team at TNO, the Dutch Organization for Applied Scientific Research. Adding to his international experience, Nicolas had been a guest researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), USA, to carry out his PhD work and an international volunteer for the international organization "Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie" in Madagascar.

Nicolas holds a PhD and engineering degree from the National Institute of Telecommunications (France) and completed his education with executive training on social entrepreneurship at INSEAD.
