In the early 2000's, I taught myself digital marketing and data analytics to give me an edge in my entrepreneurial pursuits, which resulted in working as a digital marketing consultant. I have helped attract audiences for organizations as diverse as Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in Indianapolis to the United Nations Foundation in Washington DC. Since 2015, I have served as a full-time professor and focused my energies on developing environmentally sustainable housing in Bloomington. I hold a BA in philosophy from DePauw University, an MA in international political economics from the University of Kent, and an MBA from Ball State University.
