The MSc in Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine programme is a ''first of its kind'' in the UK . The multidisciplinary international faculty deliver a unique part time distance learning curriculum heralded by Higher Education England as the ''gold standard'' in training for non invasive aesthetic practice. As Educational Programme Director it has been my responsibility to combine the latest educational methodologies with teaching delivery to create a curriculum that inspires future leaders in the field
Biography
I undertook both my undergraduate degrees in the beautiful city of Edinburgh moving to England for postgraduate medical training in London , Leeds and Manchester where I currently work as an NHS Consultant Dermatologist at Salford Royal Foundation Trust. I have been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education since 2008, with particular experience in curriculum design and implementation. As part of this work I have developed a keen interest in critical thinking methodologies related to healthcare professional practice (Clinical Reasoning) leading the integration of this withinin the undergraduate MBChB programme.
