Presentation

My main research interest is related to firm strategy, organization and management in emerging markets and developing countries. A key theme is how conventional business theories and research methodologies need to be modified when we analyze firms in emerging markets and developing countries. Theoretically, I work with various IB theories and perspectives, including transaction cost economics, resource and capability perspectives, and spillover and linkage theories.  I have done extensive empirical research on Danish MNCs in developing countries and emerging markets, on outward FDI from developing countries (in particular from India), and on private sector development.
