Michael Joiner

Michael leads Wharton Interactive’s Academic Engagement team, providing consultative and training services for Wharton Interactive’s products to educational organizations. Michael has been at Penn since 2006 and at Wharton since 2013. He holds a PhD in Anthropology from Penn and an MS in Linguistics from Georgetown. His work and research interests include ethnography, serious play, and knowledge production. He also teaches courses in Penn’s Department of Anthropology. Michael enjoys studying science and medicine and road trips in France. He is currently looking for a tall plant for his office.
