Faculty Message:
"In the current global economy business is powered by knowledge workers, and firms face two main resource constraints: financial capital and human capital. The latter is very scarce and top talent must either be acquired or groomed, and also aligned and incentivized strategically, for firms to succeed in intense worldwide competition. The best CEOs understand this and spend much of their time focused on recruiting, growing talent, and building structured people organizations, but most mid-level managers don’t pay enough attention to human resource issues. My aim is to help aspiring managers and leaders make the most of their human resources by keeping the strategic, long term goals of the organization in mind while making talent the key focus of their management technique."
