CBS Executive

Mayen Ekong is a lawyer with the BW Group in Singapore. Mayen advises the Group on maritime, commercial and corporate matters, with a particular focus on LNG and FSRU projects. Mayen has over 10 years experience in both corporate/commercial and maritime law and has worked on a number of significant deals including two long term FSRU charters to EGAS (Egypt) and PGPL (Pakistan) respectively, BW/Pavillion Energy joint venture, advising on various long term LNG charters, shipbuilding contract negotiations and the MWCS (Marine Well Containment System) project, established as an emergency response in the aftermath of the Deepwater Horizon incident. Prior to BW, Mayen worked as in-house counsel for Petronas subsidiary AET (formerly American Eagle Tankers) in both London and Singapore. Mayen holds a BA Hons in Law from the University of Hertfordshire and completed law school at the College of Law, London.
