Mendoza College of Business

Margaret Forster is interested in investments, equity valuation, and the structure of financial markets. She teaches courses in investments, international finance and financial institutions. Forster is a former principal at Wanger Asset Management LLP, a money management firm located in Chicago, where she was an international co-portfolio manager and an equity analyst. Prior to that, she was an economist at the International Monetary Fund. She has taught at Northwestern University and at The Ohio State University. Forster has an undergraduate degree from the Escola Politecnica of the Universidade de Sao Paulo, Brazil, and an MBA, MS, and PhD from Cornell University, Ithaca.
