Malinda Frey

Malinda Frey is the founder and managing partner of Clarity Guardians, a provider of fiduciary and personal representative services including guardianship, trust, probate, case management and attorney-in-fact services throughout Western Washington. Prior to becoming a certified guardian in 2012, Frey held positions as director of finance and controller for a placement service firm and was CEO of a small manufacturer in Silicon Valley.

Frey has formed and sold several successful small business projects and holds a psychology degree from Santa Clara University. She is the treasurer of the Washington Association of Professional Guardians and a mother of five who divides work and pleasure between University Place and Hood Canal, Wash. with her husband and business partner Bret Gemlich. In her free time, she enjoys her family, cooking, visiting national parks and travel.
