Maite Ferrer

Doctor in Education and Society from the University of Barcelona, since 2010 she has been part of different studies on competencies and learning and quality assessment in higher education. Among her international research stays are, in 2012, at the University of Cape Town (South Africa) for six months and, in 2015, at the Universität zu Köln (Germany) for three months. In 2017, and thanks to a pre-doctoral scholarship from the Generalitat de Catalunya, she completed her international doctoral program with a Cum Laude mention, presenting her doctoral thesis on education with the use of ICT, and specifically on the new Massive and Open Online Courses (MOOC) and its assessment.
