Presentation
My new research project have the aim to comprehensive map philanthropic associations
influencing (and being influenced by) the continual conceptualization of philanthropy and
welfare from the middle of the 19th century until the present day contributing to a fuller and
more elaborated understanding of the role played by philanthropic organizations at the
crossroads of state, market and civil society.
To do this, I am in the process of developing a theoretical and methodological
interdisciplinary research strategy combining the conceptual history tradition (ad modum
Reinhardt Koselleck) with the sociology of translation (ad modum Bruno Latour)

Supervision
I supervise at the Ph.D., MSc and BSc level and have done that for several years.
I have mainly supervised students from Ha/Cand. merc. psyk., BLC, BSc Soc. and LPK at programmes from CBS and students from History and Anthropology from other universities
I supervise at both the process and content level and expect the student(s) to turn up well prepared and always mail me a draft before supervision
