I am based in: Lisbon

Since Turismo de Portugal was founded in 2002, I have been working as an architect, responsible for several projects, including the REVIVE program, which focuses on restoration and transformation of historical, cultural, and architectural heritage buildings. Bridging with other public entities while inspiring teams to have a positive impact are my daily challenges. I am the president of the Technical Commission on Tourism, which represents Portugal in the international instances of ISO and the European Commission which allows me to focus on the quality of tourism. I thrive when I am able to contribute with thousands of ideas and to be part of a team that makes an impact.

As a mother of four young people, it is up to me to lead this small team every day with equal enthusiasm and commitment, and in balance with my professional life. What leads me hopefully into the future is knowing that the world can become better and more sustainable. That depends on each person – if every person does their part, we can all get there together. I will do mine.
