Lee Jia Min

Dr Lee Jia Min received her BEng (Bioengineering) and PhD (Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University in 2013 and 2018, respectively. Her PhD focused on designing printing strategies in 3D bioprinting for directing cell alignment. She is currently working on integrating bioprinted skin tissue model as replacement for animal testing. Other than bioprinting, she has experiences in 3D printing technologies such as fused deposition modeling, multi-material jetting and stereolithography. She has published 10 academic publications, 1 book chapter, and filed 2 patents. Her research interests lie in bioprinting, additive manufacturing, tissue engineering and biotechnology.
