Bio

Dr. Laura E. Fredenburgh is a physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). She is also an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.

She received her medical degree from the McGill University Faculty of Medicine. She then completed a residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a fellowship at BWH. She is board certified in critical care medicine and pulmonary disease.

Dr. Fredenburgh’s clinical interests are in critical care medicine and pulmonary hypertension. Her recent projects examine the therapeutic potential of inhaled carbon monoxide gas for patients with acute respiratory distress disorder. She has written over 40 peer-reviewed publications and has received funding from the National Institutes of Health.
