Dr. Kim is an internationally recognized scholar in digital business, supply chain management, and management information systems. His recent research examines inter-organizational information sharing, impact of online anonymity in Internet forums, online community solidarity, privacy and online security in Facebook. He has published over 50 academic research papers, for example, in MIS Quarterly, Accounting Review, Journal of MIS, JAIS, Information & Management, Decision Sciences, Omega, etc. Dr. Kim has also consulted many business organizations in various industries encompassing logistics, manufacturing, banking and finance, and food production. These companies include Korean Airlines, Hanjin Shipping, LG Otis Elevator, LG Cards, LG CNS, Nong Shim Food, Samsung Data Systems, Hansol Papers, Shinhan Bank, Dong Yang Securities, etc.
