Kevin Doolan is a Partner in the Professional Service Firms Group at the Møller Institute based at Churchill College, University of Cambridge and is Visiting Faculty at Harvard Law School where he teaches on their Executive Education Program. He has a particular interest in the pricing of professional services; business development skills for partners; and in cross generational working practices.

In 2013 he developed the Harvard Law School Case Study on pricing services (HLS 13-17) with Professor George Triantis of Stanford Law School and teaches pricing on the Harvard Accelerated Leadership Program. In 2015 he created the Harvard Law School Case Study on Business Development (HLS 15-12) with Dr Lisa Rohrer of Harvard (Generation X) and Cambridge Associate, Alexis Caught (Millennial).With more than 25 years’ experience as a partner in an International law firm, including 10 years as a full time member of their management team, Kevin has front line experience of the changes and challenges affecting businesses in the 21st Century. Since moving into academia, Kevin has focussed on the challenges law firms face in most effectively pricing their services, in team working across the three primary generations in the workforce, and also in how to help partners to grow existing relationships and win new ones without ever selling.

In 2009, Kevin’s strategy to redesign services following the recession won the Financial Times Innovation Award for Client Service and in 2010 he was the winner of the Law Society’s Excellence Award for Innovation. He has an MBA from Henley Management College.He now spends his time mainly working on consulting projects on pricing and cross generational working in North America and Europe. He is a regular conference speaker as well as teaching on many Executive Education Programmes at leading Universities and Business Schools.. He consults into professional service firms (particularly lawyers, accountants and management consultants).

His book, “Natural Networking” was published in December 2014 and “The Financial Times Guide to Mastering Services Pricing” was published by Pearson in July 2015. He is currently working on a third book, jointly with Millennial Alexis Caught, to be published in 2019 on “Leading Millennials at Work”
