Keren Borenstein-Nativ

External Lecturer at The Max Stern Yezreel Valley College

Biography

My research focuses on the evolution of banks as political actors in capitalist economies, with a particular focus on the Israeli banks, emphasizing the nexus between their structural and instrumental power while drawing on insights from political science, political economy, sociology and management. Before becoming an academic, I was a senior manager of Government Affairs Departments in larg companies in Israel. Having worked on the ground for years, I combine in my research my academic and scholarly knowledge with experience in the field at the regulatory, parliamentary and governmental arenas. My curiosity never ends, and I absolutely love to explore new topics and extract clear insights out of them.
